We offer a range of stock and custom-made K9(=BK7) Windows for use within a range of LiDAR-driven applications, such as Traffic Monitoring Systems.
As a substrate, K9(=BK7) is one of the most widely used optical glasses for use in the visible range up to the near-infrared (NIR). This makes our K9(=BK7) Windows ideally suited for Traffic Monitoring LiDAR systems, particularly those that operate at 1500-1560nm and between 850nm and 940nm.
K9(=BK7) can offer an uncoated average transmission of 92% between 300nm and 2000nm. Additionally, it is a cost-effective precision glass (part of the Borosilicate family) which; therefore, ensures you have a fit-for-purpose window. Our stock sizes range from 5-75mm diameter and between 1.5-8mm-thick. What's more, custom shapes and sizes available for quotation and we also edge stock down to smaller diameters, square and rectangular apertures.
